Jolly Joyful Season

This card was made with the new Big Shot Letterpress plates, this one is called Joyful Season.  It took me a few tries to get it right, but if you are careful, you can get great results!  I used watercolor paper, which is best for letterpress technique.  It produces a great image and deboss (imprint).  Craft ink is also best for a great result, the classic ink comes across a bit more muddied.

I finished off the card with a stamped background using Jolly Bingo Bits stamps in Old Olive and Ridinghood Red (also the colors used for the Craft ink).

Hope you enjoyed!

Here’s a video from Stampin’ up with some more info and tips for using the letterpress plates.
