Mixed Bunch Comfort Cafe Sneak Peek

Here’s another sneak peek of 2 fun things, 1 is a new in color: Summer Starfruit! And the other is this great designer paper called Comfort Cafe.  This card also uses the Mixed bunch stamp set and coordinating punch, and the Four Frames set with coordinating label punch.  I used Very Vanilla Seam binding and a pear accent.  The sentiment is from Teenie Tiny Wishes.  The new stuff is available in June!

Melon Mambo Wedding Invitation

My friends Shaun and Leah are having me help make their wedding invitations for their wedding in August and this is what I came up with after we went back and forth with ideas.  They loved the design that I did for my brother and sister-in-law a few years ago.  This uses the retired Wandering Words stamp.

Love the logo I made for them too, they’re going to print it up on a canvas to display at their wedding 🙂

Stamps: Wandering Words (retired)

Paper: Melon Mambo, Basic Black, Very Vanilla

Ink: Melon Mambo

Accessories: Melon Mambo scalloped polka-dot ribbon

Wild Wasabi & Peach Parfait Wedding Invitation

My friends Alice and Andrew are getting married this summer as well, in September (That’s still technically summer, I believe).  Their colors are Green and Orange and we picked Wild Wasabi and Peach Parfait to represent those shades.

This is a spin on a Pear and Espresso sample I made.  And a nice way to bid the retiring Peach Parfait a font farewell.

Stamps: Baroque Motifs

Paper: Wild Wasabi, Peach Parfait, Whisper White

Ink: Wild Wasabi

Accessories: Peach Parfait Poly-Twill Ribbon

Back to blogging

Its been a rough winter in terms of how often I have had a chance to sit down and stamp, and I have even less time to blog… but I’m hoping that is turning around now 🙂  I recently finished making wedding invitations for a woman in Australia! I love the internet and how it can make the world so small sometimes.  The invitations I made were the Elegant Eggplant ones that seem so popular, here’s a picture:

I’m also making wedding invitations for our friends Shaun & Leah (8.10.12) and Andrew & Alice (9.22.12). I’m so happy to be able to help out my friends. Can’t wait to show you what we come up with for those.

Wedding Reception Invitations

A destination style wedding sometimes calls for a local reception, and in this case we needed some separate invitations because this event will be coupled with a 20th wedding anniversary!  Here are the simple and beautiful invitations we came up with for this event!

Stamps: Elements of Style

Paper: Whisper White, Bravo Burgundy

Ink: Bravo Burgundy

Accessories: Basic Black 3/8″ taffeta ribbon

Manhattan Flower cut-out Wedding Invitation

This is another wedding invitation sample I made for my friends Sarah and Nate. They wanted a more simple and traditional wedding invitation style as far as color went, so I used the Shimmery white, which has a great weight for the card base with a subtle shimmer. I cut out around the rose and magnolia flower shapes and tied the ribbon around the front of the card so reply cards and any other inserts will have something to be held within the invitation.

Stamps: Elements of Style

Paper: Shimmery White, Basic Gray, Whisper White, Vellum

Ink: Bravo Burgundy

Accessories: Silver Brads, Manhattan Flower Embossing Folder, Basic Gray Taffeta Ribbon (retired)
