Razzleberry Stationery Box

I made this cute stationery box, from the instructions on Splitcoast.  I have a lot of leftover designer paper from last catalog and I love the design and colors.  This paper has actually been recreated for the new catalog with blue hues.  I made this for my friend Lila’s birthday gift 🙂

Favorite Thoughts

Here are the love notes cards that fit into the favor box that my hostesses will make at the hostess appreciation event on Aug 28.  I used 4 of the new in colors (the box uses the 5th, blushing bride, to color the taffeta ribbon and the magnolia flower). clockwise, the colors used are Poppy Parade, Concord Crush, Peach Parfait, and Pear Pizzazz.  The sets used, Favorite Thoughts and Watercolor Trio are only available through the end of August, so if you like them, contact me today to make sure you get them before they’re unavailable!!

Magnolia Flower Box

The instructions to make this beautiful flower are floating around on the internet and I saw it demonstrated at our demonstrator group’s Spring Fling event.  I fell in love!!  It uses the ornament punch and is just amazing.  Those attending my Hostess Appreciation event will make their own 🙂  I’ve attached it the the fancy favor box (from the Big Shot).

For the Guys

Here are a few cards that are very rock and roll and for the guys 🙂 The first is pretty psychedelic and the paper is inked with a cotton ball, rubbing alcohol and a few different colors of reinker drops.

Motorcycle (in the Summer mini and only available until the end of August!!)Extreme Guitar (and extreme elements)

Introducing, the Owl punch

Brand new to the catalog, is the owl punch.  It has lots of fun pieces so you can pair up some fun designer paper or different colors to make a very unique owl.  I’ve also seen a few people make tulips from the owl body shape and I hear there’s a penguin made from these pieces too!  So cute!  Here are a few cards I made at the shoebox swap on Friday night featuring the little guy.

Cherry Cobbler Medallion Wedding Invitation

I am building my wedding invitation sample collection to show you what else I have up my sleeve, and here’s week 2’s sample.  This week I did an A2 card invitation.   I used one of the new Stampin’ Up colors that would coordinate with any red, cherry, ruby, apple, color scheme.  The main color is Cherry Cobbler and I’ve used Riding Hood Red ink on the inside.  I used the Medallion background set, which is so prominent, decorative and elegant.  I used Whisper White organza ribbon to finish it off.  Check out my Wedding Invitations page to order this style in any color and stamp design.

Stylish Blogger Award – Thanks Sharlene!

I got a little surprise in my email Wednesday night and am so thankful that others enjoy my designs 🙂  I received this award from Sharlene, who also has a fabulous blog!

I’m supposed to share 5 stylish things about myself, so here goes:

I find myself gravitating to the color purple.  My car, my purse, my wedding, my phone cover and many of my clothes… Purple isn’t an ‘old lady color’ anymore 🙂

I let my friend Sarah play with color in my hair, until she got it perfect 😀  I went from my natural brunette to a strawberry blonde with blonde streaks and can’t see myself going back!

I’m a web designer, so its my job to be creative, play with photoshop and make webpage layouts… it takes style to do that… and stylesheets!

I love to cook, especially when it turns out right 🙂  Trying new recipes is a lot of fun for me, and working with new ingredients too!  My favorite new ingredient to cook with are sun dried tomatoes.

Lastly, though my job is so creative, I still need another outlet, and that is stamping.  I love making cards and gifts and scrapbooking on occasion.  And I love the new friends I’ve made through Stampin’ Up!  Like Sharlene!

And now to nominate some more stylish people 🙂

I don’t know any of these ladies in person, but I frequent their blogs on a daily basis and love all the inspiration they give me! You all should take a look at their Lovely blogs!!
