just for you

Here’s one of the make & take cards we made at my first workshop!

Just For You card

Supplies
Three for you punchbox
Pale Plum cardstock
Very Vanilla cardstock

flower stamped in Purely Pomegranate ink
dots stamped in Wild Wasabi ink
sentiment stamped in Basic Black ink (all ink included in the punchbox.)

The other two card projects are coming soon… once I have the images uploaded.

Mom’s day projects

Supplies: Stampin’ Up Pretty Amazing stamp set, also sentiments from Its Your Birthday set and on the inside one from the Full of Life set in the Occasions Mini catalog. Paper is the Summer Picnic designer series paper and some old cardstock. Also used some old blue brads, and some blue Stampin Up grosgrain ribbon.

I had a little fun with Rub-ons that I got from this year’s Sale-a-Bration. It was the first time I tried using them. I tried on a small coconut chocolate scented candle from Partylite. It wasn’t as easy as I thought but I think I mastered how to do it on glass now. I’m sure starting with paper would have been much easier 🙂

Save the Date

Here’s my Save the Date Announcements that I made for our wedding next June. I just used a card front instead of making a full card since all the info was on the front anyway.

Stamps used:
So Swirly Stampin’ Around Wheel

Cardstock used:
Orchid Opulence cut to 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″
Certainly Celery cut to 2″ x 4-1/4″ (approx)
Very Vanilla cut to 1/2″ x 4-1/4″ (approx)

Ink:
Orchid Opulence Classic Ink

Other:
Blue Grosgrain ribbon with white stitching cut to 12″

The printing was all done with my computer (Adobe InDesign) as I made 75ish of these, I cut, and adhered the pieces and used a ribbon technique I found here: One-hole bow tutorial. I’m not sure if it made my process faster or not, but it eliminated the need to glue/tape down the ribbon.

I still have some to distribute, so if you haven’t gotten yours, its coming. Unless I don’t know who you are!
