4-way fun fold card

I saw this card on Dawn Griffith’s blog, and did my own masculine spin on it… I really have to force myself to make masculine cards!  I got the Well Worn DSP expressly for the purpose of being inspired to make more masculine cards though.  I liked how the fleur de lis in the paper matched the stamp in Extreme Elements too!

Stamps: Extreme Elements, On Your Birthday

Paper: Poppy Parade, Very Vanilla, Well Worn DSP

Ink: Poppy Parade, Not Quite Navy, Early Espresso

Packed for dad

Father’s day isn’t for months, but I did want to make a card for my dad and I thought that might be the next occasion 🙂 So I made this and will save it for June. I used the spotlighting technique for the first time! I think I should have probably used circle punches that were closer in size but its alright.

Stamps: Packed for Dad, Dot Dot Dot bg stamp, Circle Circus, Teeny Tiny Wishes

Paper: Island Indigo, Whisper White, Pear Pizazz

Ink: Basic Black, Island Indigo, Pear Pizazz, basic gray, more mustard, poppy parade, chocolate chip

Accessories: circle punches, aquapainter, word window punch

Happy St. Patty’s!

A day early, but at least I can show you something you can make real quick for St. Patty’s!

I got this idea from Ericka… it was a proper CASE and I changed it up a bit… this was acheived with the smallest framelits heart (x3) and the 2nd smallest framelits designer label.  Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes

Paper: Lucky Limeade, Whisper White, Cheerful Treat DSP

Ink: Chocolate Chip, Illuminate Smooch

Accessories: Designer Label Framelits, Heart Framelits, Big Shot, Old Olive 1/8″ taffeta ribbon

Mixed Bunch Butterfly Kiss

Mixed bunch and its matching blossom punch are so great! I saw this idea on pinterest, and I believe the original artis is Erica (pink buckaroo). I loved the layering of the heart, butterfly and flower!

Accessories: Lace border punch, butterfly punch, blossom punch, fashionable hearts embosslits, big shot, basic pearl accents

Quilt Favor Boxes

I made these cute favor boxes and cards for some of my good friends as a special treat since we were having a slumber party 🙂 I haven’t been to one of those in ages! I thought the quilt was a good theme for that. I completely forgot to fill the boxes with candy as originally planned though, so I guess it was a diet treat? 😀

Stamps: Its your day, Sprinkled Expressions

Paper: Poppy Parade, retired DSP

Ink: Chocolate Chip

Accessories: Big Shot, Fancy Favor die, retired chocolate chip poly twill ribbon, retired epoxy brads, postage stamp punch, square lattice embossing folder.

It’s a Wrap Treat Bag

This is the 3rd project we’ll make at the stamp camp on March 17.  Its a Fancy favor bag filled with wrapped nuggets.  I thought it would be a great thank you or little birthday gift.

Stamps: It’s a Wrap Occasions

Paper: Calypso Coral, Wisteria Wonder, Berry Blossoms DSP

Ink: Wisteria Wonder, Lucky Limeade, Calypso Coral

Accessories: Big Shot, Fancy Favor Die, Lucky Limeade ruffled Ribbon, Crop-a-dile, mailing labels, 1-3/8″ Circle punch, Scallop Circle punch

Fresh Vintage Bitty Box & Envelope

This was my first experiment for my fresh vintage box project.  I like the look of it, but it was just a bit too tiny 🙂  The envelope will fit a 2×2 card and the envelope fits inside the box.  It really is “bitty”!  It would make a cute valentine since a Ghirardelli square would probably fit nicely inside…

Stamps: Fresh Vintage, Teeny Tiny Wishes

Paper: Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz

Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Pear Pizzazz

Accessories: Big Shot, Bitty Box Bigz XL die, Postage punch

Fresh Vintage Love Note Box

I had a few experiments with boxes for my project at this month’s stamp camp, and this is the one I think I’ve settled on. I got the idea from a project we did at my demonstrator group’s meeting last year. It is a box created with the Bigz XL Box #2 die. Fold the small flaps in and leave the top flap unfolded and open. It fits and displays love notes that coordinate with the box.
Stamps: Fresh Fintage (SAB) and Teeny Tiny Wishes

Paper: Very Vanilla, Pear Pizzazz

Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Pear Pizzazz

Accessories: Big Shot, Box # 2 Bigz XL die, 1-1/4″ square punch, postage punch, wide oval punch, stamp-a-ma-jig, oval designer frames embossing folder.

Outlined Occasions Celebrate!

Celebrate Sale-a-bration!  This FREE stamp set is so cute!  I made this semi-patriotic card that could be used for so many occasions, but my aim was a masculine birthday.

Stamps: Outlined Occasions

Paper: Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Well Worn DSP

Ink: Ridinghood Red, Basic Black, Not Quite Navy

Accessories: Label framelits, Real Red Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Big Shot

Elementary Elegance movers & shapers card

In my big shot class last month, I thought it would be a good matchup to use the Elementary Elegance Sale-a-bration set (one of my favorites this year) and the movers and shapers die that comes with the curly label shape.  Because I have this set in clearmount it was easy to line up the stamp with the window.  And we used the curly label punch for the greeting, a perfect fit.  I also really liked the doily cut-out butterfly in the Occasions mini, so I did my own spin on it to match up with this card.  Love the color combination.

Stamps: Elementary Elegance

Paper: Marina Mist, Whisper White, Cheerful Treat DSP

Ink; Crushed concord, Melon Mambo

Accessories: Delicate Doily Sizzlit, Subtles Designer Buttons, glue dots, Movers & Shapers die, big shot, Curly Label punch
