Flight of the Butterfly Tri-Fold Gate Card

Tri-fold what? I saw this technique recently from another demonstrators post on FB and though I thought I was almost done making my fancy fun folds, one is never really truly done when something equally fancy and fun comes along.  Here’s her tutorial.

Stamps: Flight of the Butterfly, Occasional Quotes, Word Play

Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Sweet & Sour DSP, Whisper White, Rose Red

Ink: Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie

Accessories: Decorative Label punch, 2-3/8″ scallop circle punch, dimensionals

Nature Walk Twisted Easel Card

I liked the idea of a different style Easel Card, since a card that you can display interestingly is always something I like to give. Although Nature Walk is now discontinued (but I hope it makes it into the new catalog in July!) I didn’t get a lot of time to play with it and really have been wanting to ink it up again. Here’s a tutorial for the Twisted Easel.

Stamps: Nature Walk, Word Play

Paper: Old Olive, Perfect Plum, Woodland Walk DSP, Whisper White

Ink: Old Olive, Perfect Plum, marina Mist, Crumb Cake

Accessories: Crumb Cake Seam Binding, Framed tulips embossing folder, tiny shapes punch pack, decorative label punch, dimensionals, basic pearl accents

Greenhouse Garden Tall Waterfall Card

I saw a beautiful tutorial by Lyssa Z. and just had to make this card 🙂 I used lots of blues to mimic the delft dutch look as it is going to be a card for my parents anniversary and they love little dutch likenesses, and for good reason, as my dad was born in Holland.

Stamps: Greenhouse Garden, Tiny Tags, Occasional Quotes, Something to Celebrate

Paper: Whisper White

Ink: Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy, Bashful Blue, Marina Mist

Accessories: Whisper White Organza Ribbon

Circle Circus V-Latch Card

This was a technique that Stampin’ Up’s Bonnie Thurber demonstrated at the Leadership event earlier this year. I didn’t attend, but I found the tutorial online and thought it was a great new unique way to present a 3×6 card. I’m guessing this could be adapted to a 4 1/4 x 5/12 style as well with some tweaking… 🙂 here’s a link to a video tutorial.

Stamps: Circle Circus, Something to Celebrate (hostess, retired)

Paper: Whisper White textured, Elegant Soiree DSP

Ink: Crumb Cake, Marina Mist, Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy, Early Espresso

Accessories: paper piercer, mat pack, scallop circle punch, 1-1/4 circle punch

Vintage Vogue Tri-Shutter Card

I’ve been wanting to make a card like one of these (I sound like a broken record!!) for a really long time, and more so because my mother-in-law has been making some awesome albums in this style, that are just amazing!  This card was just as magical for me.  I had a lot of fun decorating it all up, and used 7 rhinestones!  Here’s a tutorial!

Wow! Right?

Stamps: Vintage Vogue, Thanks for Caring

Paper: Perfect Plum (textured), Pretty in Pink, Very Vanilla, First Edition DSP, Lap of Luxury DSP

Ink: Perfect Plum, Blushing Bride, Always Artichoke

Accessories: Basic Rhinestones, Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack, decorative label punch, dimensionals, Ribbon border punch

Crazy For Cupcakes Wiper Card

Here’s another fun fold card that I’ve been wanting to make for a long time, its called a wiper card. When you pull the cards sides the little wiper slides over and up to reveal something fun! Lots of these cards use birds and butterflies but I thought it would be cute to use a balloon 🙂 Here’s a tutorial!

Stamps: Crazy for Cupcakes

Paper: Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla

Ink: Early Espresso, Marina Mist, Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze (markers)

Accessories: Very Vanilla taffeta ribbon, eyelet border punch, sticky strip

Graduation Cap Spring Card

Its nearing graduation time! I can’t think of anyone at the moment graduating this year but I’m sure there’s probably a few that I’ll hear about soon! Here’s a great card that I’ve made before using the spring card fold (tutorial found here). I always think of a graduation cap when I see this fun fold.
How do you make the tassel??  Here’s another tutorial link that has a similar card (slightly different sizes) but full instructions for making the tassel: HERE!

Stamps: Go Graduate Stamp

Paper: Basic Black, Very Vanilla

Ink: Real Red, Basic Black

Accessories: Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon, Silver brad, paper piercer & piercing mat

Just Believe Stairstep Card

Here’s another great stairstep card fold, the original, I believe. I had lots of fun ruffling the ribbon on this one 🙂
Here’s the tutorial!

Stamps: Just Believe

Paper: Baja Breeze, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Woodland Walk DSP

Ink: Early Espresso

Accessories: Kraft Seam Binding, Eyelet Border Punch, dimensionals

Party Hearty Side Stair card

I’ve been wanting to make these fun stair step cards for some time.  I completely cased the example from this wonderful tutorial.  Such a fun card for a kid’s birthday!  The Party Hearty stamp set is 30% off this month too!

Ink: Pacific Point, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, Real Red

Paper: Ice Cream Parlor DSP, Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango, Very Vanilla

Summer Frog Kindness

I started off intending to use the opposite side of the Poppy Parade designer paper but thought that this lined up nicely and liked the more muted tones.  This is a refreshing color combination that I think is great for anyone.

Stamps: A Flower For All Seasons, Heard From the Heart

Paper: Pear Pizzazz, Poppy Parade DSP from hostess stack, daffodil delight, confetti white

Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Basic Black
