Wicked Cool

Here’s a card I made that was inspired by Iliana Crouse, such a beautiful card she made 🙂  Here’s my halloween interpretation.  The card uses the Wicked Cool stamp set, Spiderweb embossing folder, frost shimmer paint, two tags bigz die, and black satin ribbon.

Christmas Cheer Gift Card holders

After I made the advent calendar from half the Christmas Cheer simply scrappin’ kit, I wanted to use the leftover scraps for a great gift card holder. So I made 3!  One in Cherry Cobbler & Vanilla, one in Marina Mist, and one in Always Artichoke.  I used the new Northern Frost Decorative Strip die for the big shot for the snowflakes on the closure band.  We’ll be making these gift card holders at the Holiday Preparations classes I’ll be holding.

Diaper Shower Card

Friend and Co-worker Donna is having a baby in November and for her “Sprinkle” (Shower for her 3rd baby for the bare necessities), I made this adorable diaper card that is inspired by a sample in the Idea Book & Catalog.  I embossed the diaper shape with the Perfect dots embossing folder and for the card, I used the eyelet punch along the top and made the banner with a stamp from the Hostess Level 3 set Occasional Quotes and decorated the front with the Trendy Trees stamp set.  I cinched the diaper closed with at star designer brad (now retired).

Jewel Button Bracelet

Here’s another of my button bracelet color combinations.  Its the 2nd bracelet I’ve made.  I’m looking forward to making many more, they’ll make wonderful gifts 🙂  I used the Simply Adorned charm bracelet and Brights Designer buttons in Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Tempting turquoise.  It created a great gemstone color combo so I called it “jewel”.

To anyone interested, I have this bracelet for sale in my Artfire store and can make them in other colors as well.  Just contact me if you are interested in another color combination!

Firefly Button Bracelet

Stampin’ Up has a line of jewelry called Simply Adorned.  I got a great idea to use the charm bracelet in that line and decorate it with the designer buttons in fun combination.  I have about 2 dozen great combination thought up and here’s just one of them.  Firefly.  It uses the Brights designer buttons in Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, and Daffodil Delight.

Sweet Treat Cup Refillable Advent Calendar

I’ve been so excited for this project!  This idea is completely from Heather Wachtman.  She’s still getting her new blog up and running and had plans to post the tutorial but hasn’t quite yet.  But I’ll be holding a class so you can make one with me!  These are made in such a way that they can be reused every year, completely justifying the cost of this beautiful project.  I used the new Christmas Cheer simply scrappin’ kit, which is geared toward a countdown calendar for the holidays.  I also used the sweet treat cups that were made available last year at this time.  The whole thing didn’t take me very long to make either 🙂

Lap of Luxury Stationery Box

Have I made enough of these yet? I just love to give them as gifts, and this one is for my display in August.  I used the Lap of Luxury designer series paper and love how all the colors just scream my name 😀  I will also be offering a class on making these boxes.  It will be part of a Holiday giftables class.  More than just holiday style projects, but things you can give as gifts any time of the year!  Let me know if you’ll be interested in making the stationery box!
