Box Arm Fold Card

Here’s an interesting new fancy fun fold I came across last week.  Its called the Box Arm Fold and here’s a PDF tutorial!

This photo shows how the pop out arms fold in so you can put it in an envelope:
What I used:

Stamps: Word Play, Itty Bitty Bits

Paper: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Woodland Walk DSP, Garden Green, Very Vanilla

Ink: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Marina Mist, Garden Green

Accessories: Very Vanilla Seam Binding, Ribbon Border punch, 1/2″ circle punch, dimensionals, tombow mono multi-purpose adhesive.

Butterfly Prints 3D Card

If I were to name this fun fold, it would be the diorama fold 😀 but it has been coined the name 3D card, and opening it is so fun!  Here’s a tutorial, with a PDF download for the template.  I’ve made this style of card twice, and would recommend not using textured card stock to make it as it isn’t as strong.  I made another card awhile back that was regular cardstock and it makes a big difference.

What I used:

Stamps: Butterfly Prints

Paper: Rose Red, Sweet & Sour DSP

Ink: Rose Red, Pumpkin Pie

Accessories: Butterfly Punch, Decorative Label Punch, sponge, 1-3/4″ circle punch, 2-3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch, dimensionals.

I’m getting ready (early) to do a demonstration booth on fun folds so for the next month or so I’ll be posting the projects I’m creating to prep it!

Today’s Fun and Fancy fold is called the Diamond Fold, the instructions to do this on your own can be found here.

What I used:

Stamps: I {Heart} Hearts

Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Rose Red, Sweet & Sour DSP, Very Vanilla

Ink: Rose Red, Pumpkin Pie

Accessories: 3/16″ corner punch, heart punch
