I found a beautiful pouch on pinterest that was made from the Scallop Envelope die and just had to know how to make it! Kristine from www.creativestamping.co.nz who made the original pouch, was kind enough to send me the instructions!
Cut card stock at 10″ x 4-7/8″
Score it at 4″ and 6-1/4″
Fold the card stock on the scored lines so when you look from the side it is a ‘Z’.
Put this on your die so that the two folds sit inside the score lines of the die.
Die-cut, then open out.
You will need two of these (one front and one back).
Once you have put your pocket together, make a belly band to cover up the score lines.

Did you know? The new catalog starts today! A great new layout, and awesome new product and some returning stuff too like the stamp set I used on this cute tea holder. It was from the last holiday mini and is called You Are Loved. The flowers in this set match this designer paper pretty well 🙂 There’s a tutorial to make this tea holder here: Tea Bag Holder. It’s really pretty easy to make!

This is a fun corner bookmark (fits in the top corner of your page). The directions to make this was in our demonstrator magazine Stampin’ Success in March. I used the edgelits to curve the end for a fancier look. Mary Fish had a great video tutorial, so click her name to go see it!

I made these cute favor boxes and cards for some of my good friends as a special treat since we were having a slumber party 🙂 I haven’t been to one of those in ages! I thought the quilt was a good theme for that. I completely forgot to fill the boxes with candy as originally planned though, so I guess it was a diet treat? 😀
I had a few experiments with boxes for my project at this month’s stamp camp, and this is the one I think I’ve settled on. I got the idea from a project we did at my demonstrator group’s meeting last year. It is a box created with the Bigz XL Box #2 die. Fold the small flaps in and leave the top flap unfolded and open. It fits and displays love notes that coordinate with the box. Stamps: Fresh Fintage (SAB) and Teeny Tiny Wishes
Convention attendees were given a bag full of cute and fun projects for workshops, I used one of them a few months ago, but I’ve now gotten around to doing the rest of them. Here’s a cute hostess gift of thank you tags made with the Easy Events stamps.
