Daydream Medallions Make & Takes from Convention

This set of love notes and a cute box was the make and take for our first day at convention.  The box has the leftover circles from the Daydream medallions set inked in versamark for fun polka dots.  The cards are really pretty too.  This might have been my favorite day of projects.

Convention Swap: Papillon Potpourri

I love how this swap turned out! The embossing on the patterned paper really looks awesome in person and who couldn’t love a new butterfly punch with matching stamps?

Convention Swap: Thanks Big Time!

This is one of my convention swaps, I made my own background paper with all the great elements within the Clockworks set. Masculine cards are the best! Actually, for me they are the hardest… but I love when one comes together 🙂

I made this card right away when I got the Papillon Potpourri set and matching punch… then promptly had no time to post on my blog!  Butterflies are definitely my favorite, so this purchase was a no-brainer for me… love love love!

Scallop envelope pouch – for my convention roomie!

I found a beautiful pouch on pinterest that was made from the Scallop Envelope die and just had to know how to make it! Kristine from www.creativestamping.co.nz who made the original pouch, was kind enough to send me the instructions!

How To:

  1. Cut card stock at 10″ x 4-7/8″
  2. Score it at 4″ and 6-1/4″
  3. Fold the card stock on the scored lines so when you look from the side it is a ‘Z’.
  4. Put this on your die so that the two folds sit inside the score lines of the die.
  5. Die-cut, then open out.
  6. You will need two of these (one front and one back).
  7. Once you have put your pocket together, make a belly band to cover up the score lines.
