Faux Silk Technique

Last month I taught the Faux Silk technique at my technique stamp camp.  Here are some tips and a link to some instructions:

Faux Silk Technique

Supplies

  • Tissue paper
  • Glue stick, spray adhesive, Mono or other adhesive
  • Neutral cardstock
  • Stamps
  • Ink

Stamp image onto tissue paper, crumple tissue, and then flatten out gently, not removing the wrinkles.  Glue onto your neutral cardstock and trim any uneven edges.

You can also stamp the neutral cardstock and overlay the tissue for a more muted image.
