Once in awhile, my friends ask me to make their wedding invitations, and my friend Alice loved theirs so much, that she wanted me to also make her invitations for a baby shower she was hosting for her sister. I was excited to tackle this project, though fighting a huge energy decrease from my own pregnancy. At the time we were coming up with a design we didn’t know the gender or genders of her twins to be, so we came up with a very neutral and festive color scheme of silver and white. I used our Shimmery White cardstock since it has great weight and gives a great sparkle to add to the silver theme. I embossed the baby tees image with Silver embossing powder and added a simple strip of White organza ribbon to the top. Embossing x40 definitely took a lot of time, but I was really happy with the results after only sacrificing 1 embossed image (ALWAYS use the embossing buddy, it really is your friend!)
